2016 Rotax Pro Tour Rd 3

Micro Max saw Canberra driver Sebastian Ruiz claim pole position and apart from a 4th place in heat 1, he went on to win the other heats, pre-final and final aboard his Tony Kart Rookie 950 chassis.

In Junior Max, new Tony Kart driver Reece Cohen finished the final in 3rd position with the fastest lap of the race, while the big mover in the field was Alec Morse who came from 25th on the grid to finish in 4th position and post the second fastest lap of the race. Good job Alec!

Rotax Light was a case of what could have been. Tony Kart Australia driver Wayne Bourke qualified in 5th position and had consistent finishes in the heats including 3rd position in the pre-final.

After a good start Wayne moved into the lead on lap 4 and then on lap 7 a poorly decided passing move was made by the 2nd place driver which caused contact and sent Wayne off the race track where he re-joined down in 17th position while the other driver continued onto win the race... Wayne fought back hard and eventually finished in 10th position while also setting the fastest lap of the race, 3 tenths faster than race winner.

Chris Farkas had a pretty straight forward Pro Tour by qualifying in pole position and going on to win every race of the weekend!

In DD2, Karting World driver Chris Bregonje qualified in 4th position and after consistent results in the heats he would eventually cross the line in 3rd position in the final.
